Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY

Stocked item can be cancelled seven days after purchase, with a full refund. Returned items must be in new and in unused condition. Returns are only accepted in their original boxes and should be unassembled.

All returns are subject to round trip shipping charges. Also all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Restocking fee is only waived if there is an exchange for an item of equal value or greater, or a store credit.

Special orders can only be cancelled within 72 hours of the purchase and are non-refundable

On all special orders, a 50% deposit is required. All specials orders require 100% prepayment before delivery.

SPECIAL ORDER SHIPPING TIMES

Shipping times we quote are only estimates, not guaranteed. European orders usually take 8-16 weeks. The customer agrees not to hold European Connection Furniture responsible for vendor production or shipping delays.

Delays can occur during busy holidays season and delays from manufacturers. Please also note that many companies in Europe remain closed during August and part of December. Also, due to increased security by Customs, delays may also occur. All these factors are beyond our control. Notification of delays will be made to the customer, if available. Customer agrees a delay does not constitute a right to refund or cancel.

PAYMENT POLICY

Any balance due must be paid in full before scheduled delivery by credit card, Personal Check, Certified Check, cash or Paypal

DELIVERY INFORMATION

All delivery will be through curb-side delivery. This means delivery will be to your curb. You will be responsible for carrying the furniture from that place to your residence. Driver has no obligation to help carry this product. Be prepared to have your own assistance in carrying the furniture. Furniture set up is not included. Delivery times will be arranged with customer in advance. If there is no one available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for redelivery cost.

Delivery must be signed by customer or by a person the customer designates that can have authority to sign for delivery. Before signing for the delivery bill of lading, please first inspect all exterior damage which is visible on the product cartons. Second, customer is required to open any suspected carton or cartons in the presence of the driver to inspect for any damages and to check for missing items. European Connection will not be responsible for product damage or loss inside the cartons not noted on the bill of lading. You may always call us if you have any questions during your delivery. If available, we can provide answers.

Delivery Paperwork (Bill of Lading): Please note that the majority of products are shipped on pallets, shrink-wrapped, and packaged to minimize or eliminate damages during transit. All claims related to delivered furniture towards shipping companies will be handled by European Connection. Any claim for freight damages or missing cartons must be noted by customer on the bill of lading. We will notify you in advance of the delivery the number of cartons you will receive. Any request for service or damaged merchandise must be made within 3 days of delivery. In addition to a description of damages, if possible, please provide pictures of the damages noted during your inspection. In case of minor damaged product, you must keep the product. European Connection will either exchange it for a new product, or find a local repairman to take care of these repairs, and cover all transit-related cost. Customer agrees that special order products may be in a back-order status, and will have production wait time to be produced and shipped for replacement orders. Customer agrees to wait for replacement product and waives any right to refund or return. In the event the product is no longer available, we reserve the option to replace the product with equal merchandise or issue a store credit. European Connection will provide a new replacement product and cover all transit-related cost.

Delivery amount calculate automatically on the pro forma invoice applies only to the locations in the Continental US.

Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii and to Canada are possible, but must be arrange including the cost with European Connection Furniture.

European Connection will not be liable for loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or incidental damages.
